Design and Development of a Variable Rate Applicator for Real-Time Application of Fertilizer

چکیده

Variable rate technology offers a sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective solution for fertilizer application. A study was conducted to design develop variable applicator detect real-time deficiency of N within the field apply it per requirement crop. The microcontroller system designed receive signal from sensor send pulse-width-modulation valve vary rotational speed hydraulic motor resulting in variation rotation metering mechanism drive shaft based on recommended amount fertilizer. During study, three replications were conducted, each which divided into four plots. response time between sensing discharging fell range 3.49 4.90 s. Fertilizer applied using developed indicated that when is increased N1 N4 (kg ha−1), NDVI 0.56 0.78 decreased 20 0 rpm order at 0.00 instead 78.36 kg ha−1. Using demonstrates this could reduce environmental impact, making farming more sustainable.
